O'Fallon Announces Parade Float Winners

This year's Heritage and Freedom Fest parade theme was "Celebrating the American Spirit."

Floats decked out in red, white and blue winded down Main Street on the Fourth of July for the annual on Monday morning. This year's parade theme was "Celebrating the American Spirit."

Entries were judged by how well they displayed the theme, creativity, music and mechanical movement. Winners were awarded cash prizes on Monday at the Heritage and Freedom Fest. A total of 90 floats participated in this year's event. 

  • Mayor’s Choice Award – Church on the Rock
  • Best Overall 1st Place, $500 – O’Fallon Community Athletic Club
  • Best Overall 2nd Place, $400 – Church on the Rock
  • Best Overall 3rd Place $300 – St. Barnabas Catholic Church
  • Best Color Guard 1st Place – St. Charles County Ambulance District
  • Best Color Guard 2nd Place –  O’Fallon Police Department
  • Most Patriotic Float 1st Place, $200 – Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 562
  • Most Patriotic Float 2nd Place, $100 – Stefanina’s Pizzeria & Restaurant
  • Best Musical Float 1st Place, $200 – O’Fallon Community Concert Band
  • Best Musical Float 2nd Place $100 – Mid-USA Falun Dafa
