O'Fallon Dads Treat Daughters to Night of Dining, Dancing

Dads dug out their best suits and ties, while their daughters donned sparkly party dresses and tiaras for O'Fallon's annual Daddy Daughter Sweetheart Dance held at on Saturday, Feb. 5. 

For more than 10 years, has hosted the event, encouraging dads, grandpas or uncles to treat the young ladies in their lives to a night of dressing up, dancing and dinner. 

"The girls come out and have good time. I think they love pulling dad out on the dance floor," Recreation Specialist Alyssa Groeteke said. "It's fun to see the dads out on the dance floor when Hannah Montana comes on." 

Each girl in attendance was given a long-stemmed bouquet and had the chance to decorate a cookie dessert and make a Valentine's Day magnet with their dads.
