O’Fallon Jaycees Host Electronic Recycling Day on Aug. 24

The free event is at Shops at Laura Hill Plaza parking lot located at 2300 Highway K from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The O’Fallon Jaycees are teaming up with Managed Computer Services for a free and open to the public electronics recycling drive next Saturday. 

The event is scheduled for Aug. 24 at the Shops at Laura Hill Plaza parking lot, located at 2300 Hwy K  O'Fallon, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

According to a news release from the O'Fallon Chamber of Commerce, Adonis Electronics Recycling will be onsite to provide recycling solutions.

Items accepted include:

  • PC towers
  • Laptops
  • Networking equipment 
  • CD/DVD and floppy drives
  • Cell phones
  • Satellite receivers
  • Wire, Cables
  • AC Adapters
  • Lithium Ion batteries
  • Memory, Medical Equipment
  • Power supplies
  • PC Fans
  • VCR, DVD Players
  • Printers
  • Phones and Phone systems
  • Heatsinks
  • Basically any type of computer equipment.
Electronic items will be accepted at no charge except for CRT Monitors and Tube Televisions which will only be accepted with a $15 donation. Proceeds will benefit the O'Fallon Jaycees.
