O'Fallon Patch asked residents on Facebook: Do you share these concerns? Here's what they said:

Jim Frain: "I have friends who live in Pheasant Point and the risks that they take during rush hours in the morning and evening are treacherous..This is a serious problem which MODOT MUST ADDRESS..Don't blame O'Fallon City Hall as MODOT listens to no one  understands that MODOT does not even answer concerns presented to them by city council members..The current sign is a big traffic hazard. Come on MODOT..DO YOUR JOB AND PROTECT US FROM YOUR TERRIBLE PLANNING."

Katie McMillen: "We live in Cherrywood Parc subdivision down past N behind American Cleaners and I feel the same way! It's so dangerous and there as been so many accidents right there!"

Margie Vargas: "We have lived in Pheasant Point for 28 years, this entrance has gotten progressively worse year after year! It is beyond horrible....it can be downright terrifying."

What do you think about the traffic issue?
