Roscoe the Playful Pup Could Be the Pet For You

All Paws Rescue volunteers need help finding dogs and cats permanent hom

Pets are available for adoption through All Paws Rescue, an O'Fallon based volunteer group working to save homeless dogs and cats.  All pets are kept in foster homes, where they receive the care they need to help prepare them for a permanent home.

All Paws is supported solely by private donations and fundraisers.  If you're interested in adopting an animal, you can browse their website or attend one of their weekend adoption events at area  stores. Last year they adopted out close to 300 pets.

Roscoe, a 6- month-old Australian Cattle dog mix.  All Paws volunteers say he was turned into an animal shelter with his brother Buster when their owners could no longer care for them.  Volunteers say Roscoe was rescued just in time, as the shelter had him scheduled for euthanasia the next morning due to overcrowding.

Roscoe is about 30 lbs of pure puppy and he just loves life.   All Paws foster parents say everyone is his friend and everything is his toy.  He loves to play with other dogs and basically ignores cats.  He also likes to play fetch or just snuggle on the couch. Roscoe is crate trained and is right on track with his potty training.  He is a very smart dog and will be very easy to train. Volunteers say it's hard to say how big Roscoe will get because it's hard to pinpoint what he is mixed with.  Since he is a puppy, he would do best with someone that has the time to work with him, has a fenced in yard to run off his energy or someone who has another dog to romp around the yard.
