Why Go: This program will discuss how to prepare for and protect yourself during earthquakes, earthquake response and recovery and loss-reduction, as well as talk about the potential for other earthquakes in addition to another 7.4 magnitude earthquake in Missouri.

When/Where: Saturday, April 23 at 10 a.m. at Dardenne Prairie City Hall, 2032 Hanley Rd in O Fallon

Why Go: Join the city of Dardenne Prairie for this Easter egg hunt, Arbor Day celebration and Earth Day festival. The egg hunt will kick off at 10 a.m.  for children age eight and under. There will be tons of prizes, candy and of course, pictures with the Easter Bunny. The Arbor Day Celebration, which also begins at 10 a.m., will feature essays from area fourth graders. The first 200 residents will receive a tree sapling from the Missouri Department of Conservation. The Earth Day Festival will take place from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and will feature children's activities, gardening tips, compost demonstrations and more!

Why Go: City Hall Park will include a 400 seat amphitheater, a 1,200 square foot spray ground – an interactive water playground, and play systems for children of various age groups.

Why Go: Join in the fun from the beginning and watch "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone." Rescued from the outrageous neglect of his aunt and uncle, a young boy with a great destiny proves his worth while attending Hogwarts School for Wizards and Witches.

When/Where: April 23 and 24 at the . April 23 - 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Egg hunt will begin at noon. Sunday at 9:30 am stop by for the Son-Rise Breakfast, followed by Easter Worship Service at 11 a.m.

Why Go: The Salvation Army Church and Community Center is hosting a free Easter Celebration. Enjoy photos with the Easter bunny, crafts, inflatables and more.
