Sydney Rose is a Whiz Kid

O'Fallon Patch is still seeking nominations for Whiz Kid honorees. Readers are encouraged to tell us about the amazing local kids they know, whether they're in their classrooms, youth groups, dance classes or their own children. No accomplishment is too small to mention, so if you know a kid you'd like to see featured, let us know! This week we didn't receive any nominations, so O'Fallon Patch Editor Jordan Lanham nominated her little sister.

School: Fort Zumwalt South Middle School

Accomplishments: Sydney is a friendly straight A student who is involved in numerous activities at her middle school. 

Key to Awesomeness: Sydney is a sweet kid who is always looking out for others and making sure they are included and don't feel left out. She made her transition to middle school this year and managed to maintain straight A's, while excelling on her recreational soccer team and becoming involved in choir and intramurals at Zumwalt South.
