Tornado Warning, Watch Issued for St. Louis, St. Charles Counties

The tornado warning is in effect until 3:15 p.m. Residents should take cover immediately. The tornado watch runs through 10 p.m.

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a tornado warning for St. Louis and St. Charles counties until 3:15 p.m. today.

A tornado watch has also been issued through 10 p.m. for St. Louis, St. Charles and Jefferson counties, as well as several other counties.

Residents are advised to take cover immediately. The NWS suggests that you move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building.

You should avoid windows, and if you’re in a mobile home, in a vehicle or outdoors, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.
