Create Art for Residential Care Residents in O'Fallon
Create paper carnations, origami flowers, and greeting cards, which will later be distributed at residential care facilities throughout O'Fallon. MLK Day Beautification Project at Matthew's Dickey Boys and Girls Club

Volunteers will join AmeriCorps who is organizing learning activities and building-wide beautification project at Mathews-Dickey Boys & Girls Club. Volunteers should wear closed toed shoes and clothing that they do not mind getting dirty. Event runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Head here to sign up.

Fun and Games with Seniors

Assist with Lutheran Senior Services Care Center activities on this afternoon. Your experience will start with a fame of Name that Tune and end with visiting residents while sharing a snack cart. Event runs from 1 to 4 p.m. Head here to sign up.

Ongoing opportunities:

Help with Meals on Wheels in Hazelwood, Mo. Volunteers get gas reimbursement and can receive college credit for their commitment of one or two hours a day. Help feed your neighbors in Bridgeton, Maryland Heights, Overland, Florissant and Hazelwood. For more information, contact Jane Bantz at (314) 739-5572. 

St. Charles County Medical Reserve Corps is recruiting volunteers to help in a large-scale emergency. Medically trained and non medical people are both asked to contribute. Learn more about these opportunities at an open house scheduled at 6 p.m. Jan. 30 at St. Charles County Department of Community Health and Environment. 

The St. Charles Society of St. Vincent de Paul is volunteer staffed Monday through  aturday between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. Volunteers help with receiving and sorting donated items, preparing them for the sales floor, display, maintaining, and recovery on the sales floor, assisting customers, light housekeeping.
