Man Sentenced to 5 Years for Meth-Fueled, High-Speed Chase
  • A man who said he took methampetamine during a high-speed chase with O’Fallon Police was sentenced to five years in prison Friday. St. Charles County Circuit Court Judge Ted House sentenced Jacob Allen Stafford, 20, to five years in prison for possession of a controlled substance, four years for resisting arrest by fleeing and creating a risk of injury or death, six months for DWI-drug intoxication, and six months for fraudulent use of a credit card.
O'Fallon's Back-To-School Sales Tax Holiday Runs Aug. 2-4
  • O’Fallon shoppers will get a break from paying local and state sales taxes on many back-to-school items when Missouri’s Sales Tax Holiday goes into effect at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, August 2. The tax break continues through midnight on Sunday, August 4.
O'Fallon Planning and Zoning Approves Farmhouse Sandwiches Liquor Permit
  • Farmhouse Sandwiches, just shy of its one-year anniversary, has asked the O'Fallon Planning and Zoning Commission for a conditional use permit for the sales of alcoholic beverages by the drink. The sandwich shop at 1120 Technology Drive, in Persimmon Pointe Market near the intersection of Highway K and Interstate 64, wants to start offering beer and wine.
O'Fallon Man Seriously Injured in Warren County Accident
  • Alexander P. Fahrendorf, 23, of O'Fallon was seriously injured Saturday evening in an accident in Warren County.
