The O'Fallon Planning and Zoning Commission will be thinking ahead to the holiday season Thursday night. Walmart is requesting the removal of a condition on their site plan that prohibits the superstore from placing metal storage/shipping containers on their property.

New O'Fallon City Administrator Passed Up Higher-Paying Job
Man Assaulted Off-Duty Police Officer in O'Fallon, Police Say
  • An O’Fallon man grabbed an off-duty police officer’s arm as he drove away on Sunday, forcing the man to run alongside the vehicle, police said. Police said that pointed an assault rifle at the officer’s car, according to a court document. John Jay Kahr, 43, of the 1500 block of Indian Springs Drive in O’Fallon, was charged Monday with assaulting an officer.
O'Fallon to Present Strategic Plan for Economic Development
  • The city of O'Fallon has developed a plan for economic development and is offering the public a chance to hear all about it at an open house next week. The Economic Development Strategic Plan Open House will be held in the Multi-Purpose Room at O’Fallon Municipal Centre from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23.
