O'Fallon's Casino Night and Mouse Race

Benefactors throughout the community are invited toto register for O’Fallon’s Casino Night and Mouse Races fundraiser, scheduled for Saturday, March 31, at the O’Fallon Elks Lodge, 1163 Tom Ginnever Avenue. 

Casino Night admission is $25 per person for beverages, party snacks, Las Vegas-style activities and mouse racing. The event is open for ages 21 and older. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the races begin at 7 p.m.

Event-planners hope to raise money for a much-needed water feature to complete , a universally-accessible playground in . is betting that people will love an evening of Vegas-style excitement and have a great time, especially at the mouse races.

“Whether you enjoy cards, dice or mice – including a trackside seat at the mouse races, mouse roulette and 50-50 games – odds are, this party will provide a full night’s entertainment for everyone who attends,” Mayor Bill Hennessy said in a news release.

“Track action can be pretty speedy, with mice dashing toward the finish line at upwards of eight miles per hour,” said Cindy Springer, Director of O’Fallon’s Parks and Recreation Department. “Anything can happen, and whether you win by a whisker or your mouse turns tail and runs the wrong way, you can’t help having fun.”
