Arrive Alive Tour at SCC

St. Charles Community College students and community members will learn the dangers and consequences of drunk driving and texting while driving when Unite International’s “Arrive Alive Tour” comes to the SCC campus 10 a.m.-4 p.m. March 7-8. The event is free and open to the public, and will take place at the covered walkway between the Learning Resources Center and the Student Center.

Through simulated driving situations using DWI goggles, a cell phone and LED screens, participants will experience drunk and/or distracted driving without actually being in a dangerous situation.

With funding from the Missouri Department of Transportation and the SCC Foundation, the event will be hosted by SCC’s Physical Education Department, Student Activities Office and Department of Public Safety.

For more information on the SCC event, contact Brenda Hollrah, SCC College Center coordinator, at 636-922-8230 or bhollrah@stchas.edu.
