“Meet the Winemaker” Wine Tasting and Art Show Benefit

Meet Spanish wine maker Carmelo at , 217 South Main St., from 6:30-9 p.m. on Thursday, May 31. For $25, you can sample some of his and appetizers, while viewing the art of Matt “Rebel” Jones. Jones will sell some of his pieces with 50 percent of the proceeds going to the Center for Autism. Any bottles of wine sold will be signed by Carmelo. A portion of the wine sales and per person charge will also benefit the Center for Autism. RSVP required at 636-281-2233.

Garden Villas of O'Fallon Presents Workplace Wellness

Garden Villas of O'Fallon teams up with Step Out Walk to Stop Diabetes on June 8 to present Workplace Wellness. The event runs from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. at 7092 South Outer 364 in O'Fallon. Sigh up by June 4 to attend this breakfast buffet, raffle prizes and a chance to  hear guest speaker Jeremy Koerber, MA, Fitness-Center Manager for BJC WellAware Center. To RSVP, call: 636-240-5560.

Sign Up for 28th Annual Firecracker Run

Register online now for annual Fourth of July run. The event begins at 7 a.m. at and consists of a 10K, 5K and a One Mile Fun Run/Walk. Early registration before June 1 is $15 for the One Mile.

Start Training for the Firecracker Run

offers a six-week long run clinic for those participants who would like to prepare for the O'Fallon Chamber 4th of July Firecracker 5K Run. Sessions are offered every Tuesday and Thursday evening starting Tuesday, May 22 from 6-7 p.m. Training includes running and sprints on Tuesdays and weight training on Thursdays.
