Friday Food Critic: Jo-Jo'z Frozen Yogurt

Each week, we nominate a new restaurant for you to review. That's right, you're the local expert.

When it comes to restaurants, O'Fallon has plenty.

O'Fallon has some local places that many would consider community gems, some restaurants that aren't exactly mom-and-pop but are unique to the area and O'Fallon certainly have plenty of chains lining our main streets.

But what the city doesn't have have is a consistent food critic to tell us what's good and what's not.

That's where you come in.

We could throw some money at a professional food critic, but that's not exactly what Patch is all about. We'd much rather know the opinion of the fine folks that eat there day-in and day-out.

It's your community. You eat the food. You tell us if it passes the mark.

That's why we have The Friday Food Critic column, where each week we will put a different restaurant on the chopping block. You tell us how you feel about it, what dishes are good, who has the best drink specials and so forth.

This week's restaurant is Jo-Jo'z Frozen Yogurt, located at 3449 Pheasant Meadow Dr., O Fallon.

Jo-Jo'z opened last week and we want to hear what you think!

At O'Fallon Patch, we believe your words of wisdom are better than any food critic.

What are you waiting for? Let the reviewing begin!

Just went with my 4 and 2 year old and they, and I loved it. Very clean and bright. Plenty of tables and tables for kids. The kid tables are dry erase, so they have markers to draw on them. Also they have small games on the kids tables. Yogurt was real yogurt and delicious. If you are watching your weight they also have weight watchers info posted. Over 8 flavors available and so many great toppings. Price was reasonable. Tracey, who waited on us, was so friendly and knowledgeable and was very nice. Will definitely go back again.

I rest my case that there are nearly not enough comments on articles that we read in the Patch...IRead More asked for a comment, got no comment.

This is an important opportunity for all residents who want to have input on Civic Park and theRead More changes that they want to see now that Civic Hall is gone. The men and women of the city council and parks department who are making these decisions need to hear from us.

She's on vacation at the moment. When she returns she'll still be here, but in a different role.Read More Instead of just working with O'Fallon, she'll be working with multiple Patch sites across St. Louis. While she's doing other things, Tammy Duncan and I will be posting often around here. Basically Jordan is still very much involved, but she just won't be writing as many stories.

Joe, any chance they have figured out how to port the past news stories over yet?
Joe Barker (Editor) June 3, 2013 at 09:58 am
@ Jim Pepper -- No word yet. Most of the stories came over just fine, but the stories from earlyRead More last week seem to be stuck. All I know is they are working on it.
