It's Strawberry-Dipping Time at Carousel Chocolates

The chocolate bunnies and Easter baskets may be gone now, but you'll find a variety of goodies for all seasons at O'Fallon's Carousel Chocolates.

Along with chocolates of all kinds, you can find flavored popcorn, gummies, vintage candies like Sugar Daddies and lots of unusual and fun gift items.

What makes Carousel Chocolates different than other candy stores?

The store is family-owned and family-operated, said Krista Hill, one of those family members. "We're known for our customer service," she said, "we're very homey and laid back."

Patch caught the store on strawberry-dipping day. Customers can observe this process, and other candy-making procedures, through a large window at the back of the store.

It won't be long before you can expect that most decadent of all goodies—chocolate-dipped bacon—to be making an appearance at Carousel for Father's Day.

At the moment, Carousel Chocolates doesn't have a website, but you can follow them on Facebook and receive updates about new products and specials.

The store has been at its location at 127 O'Fallon Commons Drive for about two years.
