Country Club Car Wash to Include Mobil On the Run

The Country Club Car Wash is adding a Mobil on the Run convenience shop to its Highway K and Highway N location. CVS, where Mobil on the Run used to be located, is slated to open in the late summer or early fall.

For those upset over at the intersection of Highway K and Highway N in , be upset no more.

The Country Club Car Wash, located at 2999 Highway K at the northwest intersection—catty-corner from old site—is adding the gas station's convenience shop to its location.

“We hope the change will be completed by end the of June, but we’re not sure yet of when exactly it will be finished,” said Julie Henrich, Country Club Car Wash accountant.  “We are converting the convenience store inside this Country Club to be a Mobil on the Run one.”

Henrich said Mobil on the Run stations and Country Club Car Wash locations are under the same ownership so the only thing that will change is the type of convenience store on the inside.

“It will still have the same name and everything and is still a Mobil gas station like it was before, just that the convenience shop will now be a Mobil on the Run," she said.

, there used to be a Mobil on the Run gas station and convenience store across the street from the Country Club Car Wash, but it was recently torn down for the placement of a new CVS pharmacy.

“Demolition on the old Mobil on the Run began about a month ago at the beginning of May,” said Tom Drabelle, O’Fallon Communications Director.

The new CVS is currently under construction with a completion date slated for late summer or early fall, Drabelle said.
