O'Fallon Chick-fil-A Opens Thursday with Much Fanfare

Hundreds of residents camped out in the Chick-fil-A parking lot for a chance to win free Chick-fil-A for a year.

By 6 a.m. Wednesday, nearly 200 hopefuls were on hand for a chance to be one of Chick-fil-A's first one hundred customers.

Chick-fil-A Marketing and Public Relations Specialist Tiffany Simmons, said that a lottery was held to select the first one hundred people out of the crowd to receive Chick-fil-A for a year.

This event is typical of a Chick-fil-A grand opening. On Wednesday, Jimmy Hussey, A Rockin D.J. entertained the crowd well into the night. Chick-fil-A provided breakfast, lunch and dinner to the first one hundred plus a handful of guests.
