O'Fallon Planning and Zoning Approves Farmhouse Sandwiches Liquor Permit

The shop, famous for its create-your-own sandwiches, will be offering beer and wine.

Farmhouse Sandwiches, just shy of its one-year anniversary, has asked the O'Fallon Planning and Zoning Commission for a conditional use permit for the sales of alcoholic beverages by the drink.

The sandwich shop at 1120 Technology Drive, in Persimmon Pointe Market near the intersection of Highway K and Interstate 64, wants to start offering beer and wine.

Farmhouse Sandwiches offers hot breakfast sandwiches, soups and salads, and cupcakes in addition to its create-your-own sandwiches and specials. They are open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays, 10 a.m to 4 p.m. The shop is closed on Sundays.

The Planning and Zoning Commission agreed with city staff's recommendation to approve the conditional use permit.
