PNC Bank and Community Living, Inc. Partner for Holiday Campaign

Bank will donate $25 to Community Living, Inc. for each new account opened in December.

O'Fallon residents who open new personal checking accounts at the branch located at 1400 Mexico Loop Rd. during the month of December, will have the chance to help support programs for community members with disabilities.

Throughout the month, PNC Bank will donate $25 to (CLI) for each checking account that is opened from Dec. 1-31.

CLI provides programs and services to people with primarily developmental disabilities throughout St. Charles County.

They serve 233 clients from O'Fallon and provide residents with opportunities for employment services, support, recreation, residential services, in-home and facility care and teen activities.

"The money raised is going to provide life enriching services for individuals we serve with disabilities," CLI Director of Development Christine Rutherford said, adding that she won't know which programs until they determine how much money they have raised.

Those opening accounts with PNC Bank will also receive $100 and be registered for a drawing to win $1,000 to help pay their holiday bills.

Assistant Vice President of PNC Bank Adam Hopper said so far this month the O'Fallon bank has opened around 15 new accounts and raised nearly $375 for CLI.

Hopper said he hopes the partnership will help bring attention to CLI and the importance of inclusion.

"It's an area in our community that needs a lot of assistance, they don't get a lot of support and we need to raise awareness," he said.

Those interested in opening a new account can visit the Highway K and Mexico PNC Bank branch during regular business hours, or call 636-272-2449.
