A new Buffalo Wild Wings location is under construction in O'Fallon.
The restaurant plans to relocate its O'Fallon restaurant to another part of town by the beginning of 2013.
As O'Fallon Patch previously reported, the establishment is relocating from the intersection of Highway K and Highway N, to the former Old Country Buffet building in front of Target at Laura Hill.
Christina Boehm, Buffalo Wild Wings franchise marketing manager said the reason for the move is to improve parking and gain higher visibility.
"Our current timeline is end of 2012/ early 2013," Boehm said in an email earlier in August.
At the Nov. 1 O'Fallon Planning and Zoning Commission meeting, the commission approved a recommendation for a conditional use permit and site plan for the restaurant to the city council.
At the meeting, a representative for the property said the Buffalo Wild Wings has been at the 3020 Highway K in O'Fallon for 10 years and the new location they will increase the restaurant size from a 6,000 square foot building to 7,500 square foot building.
O'Fallon Patch will update with the exact open date as more information becomes available.
