Jerry Shaw, president of SAK Construction, LLC (SAK) has been selected to receive the 2014 Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award sponsored by the Underground Construction Technology Association (UCTA). The award annually recognizes an individual for outstanding contributions to the underground infrastructure industry.  Founded in 1992 and based in Houston, Texas, UCTA promotes education, training and research in traditional, trenchless and rehabilitation underground construction technologies.

Shaw, with 35 years of experience in the underground construction industry, co-founded SAK in 2006. Based in O’Fallon, Mo. and with regional offices in Sacramento, Calif., Tampa, Fla. and Baltimore, Md., the firm has active projects in 21 states.
