Ken Naumann Named New President of Kaiser Electric

Kaiser Electric has announced the resignation of Steve Giacin as its president. Vice president Ken Naumann, 49, of O'Fallon, MO, has been named the electrical contractor's new president, effective January 9.

 

Giacin, president since January 2009, has resigned to pursue a job opportunity out of state. Giacin had worked for Kaiser Electric for 15 years.

Naumann has been employed by Kaiser Electric since 2000 and has more than 30 years of construction experience. Naumann is a licensed professional engineer in Missouri, Illinois, Kansas and New Jersey, and has also achieved LEED AP and Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification. He has been performing design/build and design-assist projects in the healthcare industry for the past several  years, and also specializes in large, complex critical schedule electrical projects.

Going forward as president, Naumann says he will be focused on continuing to grow Kaiser’s divisions in Central Missouri and Illinois, while working to strengthen Kaiser's position in St. Louis. 

 

Naumann said he will focus efforts on pursuing design/build opportunities in the healthcare and commercial markets, both in Kaiser's local markets and nationally.

 

“While I will miss working with Steve, my longtime friend and colleague, I look forward to the opportunity to lead the outstanding team at Kaiser for many years to come. I am honored and humbled by the trust and faith that Rob Kaiser and the rest of the management committee have shown in appointing me to this position.”

 

Naumann and his wife Donna live in O'Fallon, MO and have three children: Sadie, 21; Jaime, 18; and David, 16.
