I have a knot in my neck that won't seem to go away. I was wondering if this could be the way I sleep or the way I sit and also if it would help to get my back adjusted?

Great question Jordan. Yes the way you sit through the day and how you sleep at night can have a huge impact on your neck and back. I discussed with patients on a regular basis about making changes to their daily habits in order to help decrease their symptoms. Sometimes something as simple as raising a computer monitor an inch or two or getting a new pillow can make a big difference. Another important things to know is that if you have neck pain that hasn't gone away on its own in a couple days then it is a good idea to get it checked out. One of the top reasons people come to my office is for neck pain and it's something that chiropractic has great success in helping with.
