City of O'Fallon Lifts Snow Emergency

Residents may park their vehicles on the street again on Thursday afternoon.

After three days of  street crews working to clear snow from city roads, officials said the roads have  reached a point where the snow emergency can be lifted and on-street parking allowed once again.

crews began pre-treating city streets in preparation for the winter storm on Sunday and continued to clear streets with a Level 4 response until Wednesday afternoon.

For the past three days, city officials asked that residents move  their vehicles off the streets and  into the driveway, to allow snow plows through. Cars that were not moved off the street were ticketed or towed.
