Daily Dose: Aug. 23 Edition

Welcome to the O'Fallon Daily Dose, where each morning we'll keep you updated on what's going on around town and what's coming up on Patch. 

Weather 

• According to the National Weather Service, Tuesday will be partly sunny with a high near 91. There is also a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. 

Traffic 

• The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) will close one eastbound lane of  I-70 at the Missouri River from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 
• One to two westbound lane of I-70 will close from Route Z to Lake Saint Louis Boulevard from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

News to Use

• With fall upon us and the kids heading back to school, has scaled back on hours. The center is open only on Saturday and Sunday for the next two weeks. Saturday hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday the pool is open from 12 to 7 p.m. Alligator's Creek is open on Labor Day weekend, Sept. 3-5, with normal hours.
