Daily Dose: Benefit for Kids of Fallen Heroes, Weekend Events and More

Welcome to the O'Fallon Daily Dose, where each morning we'll keep you updated on what's going on around town and what's coming up on Patch. 

Weather

  • According to the National Weather Service, Friday in O'Fallon is expected to be partly sunny with a high near 69 and a 20 percent chance of showers.

Traffic

  • The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) will wrap up repairs on two left lanes of westbound I-70 at Route 370 at 6 a.m. on Friday morning. Crews began bridge joint repairs on Thursday at 10 p.m. 
  • MoDOT will close westbound I-64 (Route 40/61) at the Missouri River (Daniel Boone Bridge) on Sunday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. for a day long inspection. Drivers will still be able to get to St. Charles County using I-70, Route 364, and Route 370. The detour for the closure is taking I-270 to I-70 or using Route 364 to Route 94.

  • hosts the  outdoor Arts Festival in Fort Zumwalt Park this Sunday, Sept 25 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 
  • Learn more about what the offers on Saturday, Sept. 24 at the Renaud Spirit Center’s Open House and Live Well Expo. The free event runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. During this time, the center's facilities can be used for free, including the pool from noon to 6:30 p.m.
