Forecast Calls For Snow, Freezing Rain Overnight in O'Fallon

O'Fallon crews began pretreating city streets on Sunday night.

Like most of the St. Louis area, O'Fallon is under a winter advisory in effect until midnight on Monday.

According to the National Weather Service website, snow is expected to continue falling in O'Fallon until midnight, with a chance of snow and freezing drizzle between midnight and 5 a.m. Forecasts call for one to two inches possible overnight. 

began preparing for the wintry mix no Sunday, with three trucks out pretreating city streets. According to the O'Fallon Snow Removal Twitter account, 16 trucks began pretreating streets with a salt and brine mix at 7 a.m. on Monday. Additional crews are prepared to come in later Monday night when the heavier snowfall is expected.
