Celebrate Halloween in St. Charles County This Week

Halloween Events Oct. 23-31

  • St. Charles Community College hosts its third annual  from Oct. 24-28. A different movie will be shown each night in the auditorium of the Daniel J. Conoyer Social Sciences Building on the college campus in Cottleville. Guest speakers will also precede the movies every night.Movies will be shown at 7 p.m. Monday-Friday, Oct. 24-28, with guest lectures starting at 6:30 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. Free popcorn is also available.
  • in O'Fallon will host an all-day Monster Hunt on Oct. 24. and Oct. 31. The library will be filled with monsters. Children from pre-school to sixth grade are invited to count the monsters for a chance to win a free book. 
  • The has teamed up with The Painted Pot to offer classes in ceramics, pottery and more. On Oct. 26, you can sign up to paint a Halloween bowl to hold all your candy after trick-or-treating. 
  • The hosts their annual Safe Halloween event on Thursday, Oct. 27 from 6-8 p.m. Fort Zumwalt pre-school and elementary school students accompanied by an adult are invited to enjoy free games and treats at all four Fort Zumwalt high schools. 
  • St. Peters residents can see the St. Charles Symphony in a special spooky Halloween concert on Oct. 29 at the St. Peters Cultural Arts Center. Musicians will be in costume, and kids who don costumes will receive special treats.
  •  will host a Halloween Spooktacular from 2-4 p.m. Oct. 29.
  •  will celebrate Halloween from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 29 with a trick-or-treat day for children 12 and younger and their families. The day will include face painting, candy and pumpkins. The cost is $1 for children and free for adults. For more information call 636-949-4787.
  • Head to  Library from 2-3 p.m. Oct. 29 for mad science. Create monster slime, vampire blood and more.
  •  in Lake Saint Louis' annual Halloween event, Monsters on the Meadows, will be 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 29. Kids can trick-or-treat from store to store and enjoy pumpkin painting and hayrides, too.
  • St. Charles Parks and Recreation Department will host a  event from 6-8 p.m. Oct. 30 at Memorial Hall in Blanchette Park for kids ages 3-12. No reservations are necessary.
