Head on Collision Injures 10 in O'Fallon

Two cars struck head on at South Outer 364 and Twin Chimneys Boulevard on Sunday afternoon.

A two-car accident at South Outer 364 and Twin Chimneys Boulevard left 10 people injured on Sunday afternoon. 

According to , around 4:10 p.m. on Sunday, one car containing six people traveled westbound on South Outer 364, while another car was eastbound on South Outer 364, with four occupants.

Police say the cars struck head on when the westbound car turned left in front of the eastbound car, preparing to go southbound on Twin Chimneys Boulevard.

All occupants were transported to four different hospitals and police say the injuries included head injuries and broken bones.

The O’Fallon Police Department is continuing the investigation on the accident.
