How Will Hurricane Sandy Affect St. Louis Weather?
Hurricane Sandy may be wreaking havoc along the East Coast, but it's producing nothing but chilly weather in St. Louis.
The center of Hurricane Sandy is expected to hit the southern tip of New Jersey by early this evening, the National Weather Service reports.
But how will Hurricane Sandy be affecting weather in St. Louis, and particularly O'Fallon? Well, not by much, other than keeping colder temperatures around.
O'Fallon's forecast calls for clear, sunny skies for the rest of the week, with high temperatures in the mid-to-high 50s and lows in the mid-to-low 30s.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that Sandy is bottling up the weather pattern over the Midwest. That means the cool front that arrived Friday will linger through much of this week, keeping temperatures below normal.
About the only adverse affect Sandy will have on St. Louis is in Lambert St. Louis' cancelation of dozens of flights headed to the eastern seaboard.

According to KSDK, the first cancellations are being posted on the flight boards at Lambert St. Louis international airport, as Hurricane Sandy bears down on the East Coast of the United States.
