KMOV ‘On the Road’ in O’Fallon This Week

Channel 4 will wrap up a week-long feature on the city with a full day of coverage on Friday.

If you just can’t get enough O’Fallon news, you can tune into KMOV Channel 4 on Friday, as the station broadcasts live from Alligator’s Creek starting at 6 a.m. and continuing throughout the day.

KMOV featured O’Fallon in the stations new “On the Road” segment this week, highlighting the city’s businesses, Cultural Arts Center and ranking as second safesty city in the country.

This week was the third installment of “On the Road.” Ballwin and Scott Air Force Base were previously featured and the next edition will take a look at the City of Florissant.

Anchor Vickie Newton said the series is an effort to balance the reporting of both negative and positive news. 

“We wanted to show there are also positive things happening in communities we live in,” she told O’Fallon Patch. “I am happy to tell a story about O’Fallon especially when it comes to safety for our community. In our area to receive recognition for such an important quality speaks volumes about the residents. “

You can check out KMOV Channel 4 on Friday as Newton and anchor Larry Conners meet with Mayor Bill Hennessy and other city officials during their live broadcasts at 5 and 6 p.m. Check News 4 throughout the day for a number of special O’Fallon reports.
