Lane on North Main Street to Re-open Wednesday

The inside northbound lane closed at Main Street and Elm due to a water break should re-open Wednesday afternoon, according to city officials.

Director of Public Relations Tom Drabelle said the main broke early last Friday morning and was repaired by 9 p.m. that night.

Drabelle said crews worked in waste deep water on a 15-degree day to make repairs and ensure water was not shut off for Main Street businesses.

The road was temporarily open after being repaired with rock. Crews closed the road again to add an additional patch.
