MoDOT Starts Repair Work on Route P Monday

Sections of Route P will be closed for drainage repairs and erosion work.

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) will close sections of Route P for repairs next week, weather permitting. 

MoDOT and contractor Pace Construction will close one lane along various sections of Route P in St. Charles County for erosion control work on Monday, July 11. 

One lane will close weekdays between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. while crews install silt fence and other erosion control at the side of the roadway, according to MoDOT. Crews will start on Route P at Route 61 and head eastbound until they reach Hoff Road, then head westbound on Route P back to Route 61.

Crews will direct traffic around the lane closures. According to MoDOT, work on this project will be complete in late October 2011.

MoDOT will also close sections of Route P for drainage repairs next week, weather permitting.

Crews will close Route P at Flint Hill Drive in St. Charles County, to replace a culvert on Monday, July 11. Repairs will begin 9 a.m. and the road should reopen by 3 p.m.  

Drivers can use Parr Road, Route A and Route 61 as a detour. According to MoDOT, only local traffic will be allowed between Flint Hill Drive and Parr Road.

Crews will also close Route P at Dove Nest Lane in St. Charles County,
to replace a culvert on Thursday, July 14.

Repairs begin at 9 a.m. and the roadway should reopen by 3 p.m. Drivers can use Hoff Road, West Terra Lane, Mexico Road and Guthrie Road to detour. MoDOT officials say only local traffic will be allowed between Dove Nest Road and Meadow Farm Lane.
