Update: St. Charles County Woman Killed in Car Accident on Highway K on Thursday
A four-car accident on Highway K left Theresa Moore, 52, of St. Charles County, dead and two injured on Thursday.
A four-car accident on Highway K left Theresa Moore, 52, of St. Charles County dead and two injured on Thursday.
According to , Moore was traveling northbound on Highway K on Thursday, when her car changed lanes, striking another car traveling northbound on Highway K, causing her car to spin.
Moore's car crossed over the center turn lane into the fast lane of southbound Highway K and was struck by a car traveling southbound on Highway K. The third car spun and struck the fourth car.

The accident occurred at 3:10 p.m. near the intersection of Highway K and Pheasant Point. O'Fallon Police shut down a section of southbound Highway K at Route 364 South Outer Road on Thursday afternoon.
Police say the driver and passenger of the third car were transported to a local hospital, with non-life threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported.

The accident is being investigated by the Accident Reconstruction Team of the O’Fallon Police Department.
