  • An O'Fallon man is dead after the ATV he was riding flipped and ejected him and two others from the vehicle on Sunday morning.
  • A man who told police he practices witchcraft phoned in threats against Matthais' Lot Church and the church's pastor on Sunday.
  • Gunshots were fired inside a Wentzville barber shop. The incident began with a conversation about the Newtown, CT, school shooting and ended with a man shooting multiple shots at another man's feet.
  • Noemi Guyton, of St. Peters, was first cousin to the teacher widely hailed as a hero to her first-grade students in the midst of the shooting at Sandy Hook.
  • A local mother shared her thoughts on school safety and what more can be done in the wake of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings.
  • The St. Charles School District has identified $2.5 million in security upgrades that are needed across the district, including installing an alarm system
  • A St. Charles County man was charged Dec. 10 after threatening his brother with a knife.
  • More than  went missing from a St. Peters home.
  • Elizabeth Hollman runs a business called Me and the Mouse Travel, an agency that helps families plan their Disney vacations for free.
  • Two St. Peters residents were among those involved in a scheme that provided Missouri drivers licenses to illegal immigrants. 
  • A St. Charles landlord is accused of assaulting his tenants to get them removed from his property and then keeping the rent and deposit money.
  • Pinnacle Entertainment, which owns River City Casino and Lumiere Place in St. Louis, plans to purchase Ameristar Casinos.
  • O'Fallon adopted an ordinance that limits funeral protests within 300 feet of any cemetery, funeral home, church, or similar locations during or within one hour before or after a funeral or burial service.
  • A St. Charles County task force will study and make recommendations to improve safety at local schools and colleges.
