  • An O’Fallon woman faces assault charges after being accused of putting a condom in her 5-year-old daughter’s underwear. St. Charles County Sheriff’s Departmentinvestigators said the 26-year-old O'Fallon woman told her daughter to hide the condom in her father’s home in Dardenne Prairie. The condom had been made to look as though it was used, according to a probable cause statement.

O'Fallon City Council to Consider Pay Raises

  • On Thursday evening, the O'Fallon City Councilwill hear the first reading for an ordinance to increase compensation for the city's elected officials. Compensation was last set in 2001 at $19,500 per year for the mayor and $7,600 per year for council members. The new ordinance would set compensation at $24,000 for the mayor and $12,000 for council members, and would go into effect for the winners of the April election.

  • Two O'Fallon Burger King restaurants are among the five owned by Joseph R. Gunther and Vicki Gunther that are the target of a lawsuit by Burger King CorporateThe case was filed on Jan. 28 in Miami, Florida where the Burger King corporate offices are located.

  • O'Fallon Police issued a press release yesterday about an arrest in a Feb. 14 burglary at Frank Leta Honda. A 21-year-old Foristell man unlawfully entered the car dealership, located just north of I-64 on Auto Mall Drive, breaking windows and damaging drywall. Jacob Kowalik has been charged by the St. Charles Prosecuting Attorney with second degree burglary and first degree property damage. He is being held on a $30,000 bond.

O'Fallon Man Entices 12-Year-Old Girl to Send Him Nude Photos

  • An O’Fallon man faces criminal charges for enticing a 12-year-old girl to send him nude photos of herself Feb 17. Dwight Barmore, 57, of O’Fallon, was charged Wednesday with sexual misconduct involving a child under age 15, possession of child pornography and use of a child in a sexual performance.
