The following businesses and restaurants are open at some point on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24 or Dec. 25. 

Things to do: 

• Great Escape Theater: Open on Christmas Eve, open at 12 p.m. Christmas Day. 
• Wehrenberg Town Square 12 Cine: Open Christmas Eve, open at 1 p.m. on Christmas Day. 
• Visit the Renaud Spirit Center in O'Fallon on Christmas Eve from Monday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. There is open swim from 12-3:30 p.m. The RSC is closed on Christmas Day. 
• Visit the St. Peters Rec Plex: Rec Plex closes at 4 p.m. Christmas Eve and is closed on Christmas Day.  
• Go ice skating at Steinberg Rink in Forest Park: Open from 10 a.m to midnight Christmas Day and Christmas Eve. 

Restaurants:

• St. Louis Bread Company is open until 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve and is closed on Christmas Day. 
• IHOP is open 24 hours on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. 
• McDonalds is open on Christmas Eve from 12 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Christmas Day from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. 
• HotShots Sports Bar & Grill closes at 5 p.m. Christmas Eve, opens at 5 p.m. Christmas Day. 
• Cracker Barrel closes at 2 p.m. Christmas Eve, closed Christmas Day.

Grocery stores:

• Dierbergs: Open 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Christmas Eve, closed Christmas Day. 
• Shop N' Save: Open Christmas Eve until 5:30 p.m., closed on Christmas Day. 
• Schnucks: Open until 5:30 p.m. on Christmas Eve, closed Christmas Day. 

Pharmacies:

• Walgreens: Open 24 hours Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Pharmacy closes at 10 p.m. Christmas Eve and is closed Christmas Day. 
• CVS Pharmacy: Open 24 hours on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. 

Other:

• Friar Tuck Wine, Spirts and Beverages, located at 4635 Highway K, O'Fallon is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve, closed on Christmas Day.
