Wintry Mix Heads to O'Fallon

National Weather Service predicts light snow and freezing rain beginning Tuesday night.

Freezing rain and light snow is expected to hit O'Fallon Tuesday night. 

According to the St. Louis National Weather Service, rain and snow are likely to start before midnight, then a possible mix of freezing drizzle between midnight and 3 a.m.

The St. Charles County area is under a Hazardous Weather Outlook. According to the National Weather Service, slick spots will be possible on elevated roads.

O'Fallon Director of Public Relations Tom Drabelle said the city streets department will begin monitoring streets at 8 p.m. this evening. O'Fallon crews will pre-treat with salt on bridges and other key locations.
