The first phase of Ballpark Village St. Louis opens today with an opening ceremony; Ballpark Village Grand Opening Festivities continue through Monday, April 7th.

 

History Clubhouse: Let's Build It! opens Saturday at Missouri History Museum. They're creating a space just for families and need your help! Parents and their kids will engage with some of St. Louis' favorite places and provide input and feedback that will be used to complete the permanent History Clubhouse gallery, opening in 2015. While the exhibit is open daily through Oct 6, this will be the first of 5 special weekends with events throughout the museum. Let's Build the History Clubhouse: Downtown St. Louis is the first theme - Meet mascots from your favorite downtown sports teams, create your own cityscapes of St. Louis in 2014, and see the debut performance of Glory the Gargoyle Finds a Home!

 

Beginning Wednesday, bring your family to Springtime Village at  Purina Farms, where we celebrate all things Spring! See the farm babies, pet a goat, feed the chickens and pigs. Closed Easter Sunday. Admission is free. Reservations are required, call (314) 982-3232.

 

Final Days! 

March Morpho Mania closes Monday at The Butterfly House. Try to make time to enjoy this breathtaking experience with your family! All activities free with regular admission.

Saturday

Easter Bunny Breakfast  at St. Louis Outlet Mall. Celebrate the arrival of the Easter Bunny to St. Louis Outlet Mall with a special family-friendly breakfast celebration on Saturday, March 29, at 9:00 am in the food court!

Hare in the Air Egg Hunt at Kirkwood Public LIbrary. Logan's annual "Hare in the Air" returns on March 29th! This FREE event is open to the community and features egg hunts for children between the ages of 2 and 8, a petting zoo, balloon artists, a fire truck and much more!

Firehouse Movie Night: Monsters University at City of Clayton - Parks and Recreation. Join the Clayton Fire Department at the firehouse for Family Movie Night. Come early to see the fire trucks and meet the fire fighters!

Fairy Tea Party at Kirkwood Public LIbrary. Tea, treats, and fun for children and accompanying adult.

 

Saturday-Sunday: Children’s Garden Opening Weekend at Missouri Botanical Garden. Join us as we spring into action and reopen the Children’s Garden with two fun-filled days of hands-on activities!


Sunday

On Your Toes Dance Studio is offering two workshops:

  • Ice Princess Workshop- Calling all Frozen Fans! Join us for ice princess games, crafts, a snack, and of course a dance and special performance for parents! March 30th Ages 5-7 1:45-3:15 Ages 3-4 3:30-4:45
  • Superhero Workshop! - Calling all Superheroes (ages 3-5)! Come jump, tumble, and play Superhero games and go home with a free gift from us! 12:30-1:30 Come in for a fun packed afternoon for only $12!

The Wonder Years Parenting Conference by the Jewish Community Center - Family Center at Saul Mirowitz Jewish Community School.  Speakers and information for parents of children birth - 5yrs. Geared towards a Jewish audience, many parenting topics will be discussed and an information fair will provide resources from community organizations. RESCHEDULED FROM MARCH 2 TO MARCH 30


Monday 

Watch the Big Games on the Big Screen! at Wehrenberg Theatres. Catch the action on the BIGGEST SCREEN possible for FREE - at Ronnies 20 Cine in South County! Concession and bucket specials available for both the St. Louis Cardinals Season Opener and the Home Opener!


Tuesday

Butterfly House Free Admission Morning for STL City/County Residents   St. Louis City/County residents enjoy free admission on the first Tuesday of every month from 9 -11 a.m. Proof of residency is required.

Reader's Theatre at St. Louis County Library - Rock Road Branch . Kids & teens, bring your friends and join us for a theatrical reading event. If you like to act, read, have an imagination or are creative, this program is for you. We'll act out some of your favorite books, one chapter at a time. Ages 10-16. Free!

St. Louis Symphony Chamber Concert Series at Tower Grove Park. In Piper Palm House at Tower Grove Park. Space is limited and no reservations will be taken. 6:30 PM Doors Open, 7 PM Concert Begins. FREE.


Wednesday

Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis has two great programs for the little ones the first Wednesday of every month:

  • Morning Play Date (2-5) Enjoy artist-led activities, storytelling, toddler yoga, music workshops, and more
  • Stroller Tour  Start with a complimentary breakfast and join other contemporary art-loving adults and infants to learn about a different aspect of the exhibition each month. (birth-24 mos)

Stories @ STAGES at Stages St. Louis. Experience your favorite classic kids' stories in a whole new way! Stories @ STAGES is a free event that features an interactive reading and performance by STAGES artists, followed by dramatic play activities for the children.
