1st Annual Apple Festival Hosted at Rick's Roadside Market

The 1st Annual Apple Festival in St. Charles County brings a variety of Missouri and Illinois apples to market while inviting local families to enjoy a good old fashioned fun filled day.  The event opens with live music, delicious apple brats, apple cider, beer, margaritas, wines, a barn full of vendors, games for the kids, apple eating contest, games and a petting zoo.

The event is FREE.

Missouri and Illinois have many variety of apples for harvest and Rick's Roadside is excited about bringing them to market.  In the olden days when a gentleman offered a lady an apple, it  served as a marriage proposal.

We celebrate the apple today by enjoying caramel apples, apple pie, apple ciders and apple butter to name a few.
