Foundry Art Centre's new exhibition - "The Third Dimension" - opens tonight!

"The Third Dimension" Exhibition Opening Reception at the Foundry Art Centre tonight!

The Foundry Art Centre is opening their new exhibition - The Third Dimension - tonight, June 15, 2012.

The Third Dimension is a juried exhibition of artists working in any sculptural media; including but not limited to: paper, wire, clay, wood, metal, glass, plastic, and fiber. All sculptural solutions will be represented in this exhibition - reductive, additive, assemblage, relief, in-the-round, and installation. This exhibition will be open in the Foundry’s Gallery I & II during regular business hours, through Thursday, July 20, 2012.

The Foundry is hosting an opening reception for The Third Dimension tonight from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. The reception is free and open to the public. Complimentary refreshments will be served.

Artist Martin Linson will be demonstrating sculpting techniques in the Grand Hall during the Opening Reception. Linson has been awarded the first Olympic Gold Medal in the 2012 competition. His sculpture, “Omnipotent Triumph” was chosen in the Art and Culture Competition.
