ASWL-Cookies From the Heart to Host Fundraiser at O'Fallon Dierbergs

Fundraiser to help troops overseas with hygiene items. They have a hard time getting hygiene items since they are in such remote areas in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Our baking group bakes cookies for the U.S. military troops deployed overseas, and we now have 55 ladies, most from St. Charles County, in our group.  Our baking group will be collecting hygiene items for troops deployed overseas and monetary donations for shipping next Tuesday, May 14th between 5 and 7 p.m. at the Dierbergs parking lot located off Hwy. K and N (Deer Creek Crossing).  We would appreciate it if people from the St. Charles County area could show their support for the troops in Afghanistan and Iraq by stopping by and dropping off hygiene items or a monetary donation to help us with shipping expenses.  Our group spends an average of $300 per month on shipping alone.  If people are unable to attend the event, monetary donations can be mailed to Mary Powers.  Please make checks payable to:  ASWL (very important to write "Cookies from the Heart" in the memo portion of the check).  Mail to:  ASWL-Cookies from the Heart, Attn:  Mary Powers, 18 Barrington Dr., St. Peters, MO 63376.  Also, feel free to visit our website:  https://sites.google.com/site/aswlcookiesfromtheheart/ or like us on Facebook:  ASWL - Cookies from the Heart.

And if you love to bake, we are always looking for more bakers.  Please feel free to e-mail the group at:  aswlcookiesfromtheheart@yahoo.com.
