Bring Our Soldiers Home - NOW!!!

Mother's Day was yesterday - I miss my Mom greatly! She was just a plain country woman with an eighth grade education; she knew tons more than I ever will and I graduated with a Master's of Business Administration degree. She always longed for what was best for her children and she had to bury one before she died - something none of us ever wants to experience, of that I am certain. She was full of love for children and is buried in a cemetery in Jackson, TN alongside my Dad in a plot surrounded by children; her grave was not quite ready when she went to Heaven, but they showed my Dad & me this great place under a tree surrounded by children and I just knew my Mom would want to be buried at that exact place. She's been gone now 22 years, her memory lives on today just as vivid as her smile and that certain look she could provide if I was misbehaving. I miss my Mom.

What does that have to do with bringing our soldiers home? My Mom worked in an Army Ammunitions plant during WWII in the tiny community of Milan, TN . She packed gun casings with magnesium sulfate and years later developed Parkinson's disease as a result. She never complained all those years she suffered with that terrible disease. She only mentioned the war now and again. Each time another war broke out, Korea, Vietnam, Grenada, Middle East civil wars and the like, she always said one of her last wishes on earth would be for the Soldiers to All Come Home. We've accomplished our mission within these present day regions of Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Yemen, etc.; these people have told us thanks but no thanks for continued presence in their lands. It's time to Bring Our Soldiers Home! It's time to Bring Our Soldiers Home! It's time to Bring Our Soldiers Home! Each and every member of the military should be stationed in a non-combat facility and within an American controlled base of operations and more accurately on American soil. We have seen the effects of modern war, quadruple amputees, triple amputees, double amputees, single amputees and those suffering greatly from PTSD. You have a voice - use it! You have the ability to change the lives of members of the military worldwide - use it! You have the means with which to Bring Our Soldiers Home - please exercise all that is in your power to do just that!

My Mom and mothers all over this country would have stood by their sons and daughters in the military and would have supported our nation and did support our nation in time of war. As a tribute to all mothers - Bring Our Soldiers Home, NOW!!!
