Remembering to Respect the Rights of All

Dual message - respect for other's rights and stopping to reflect on Memorial Day.

It's summer time in the city! The City of O'Fallon, MO is alive and well these days. Lots of activities in and around our great city.

We should all respect the rights of others, even though at times those others exhibit no respect for our rights. It's not easy being cordial in the hearing of abusive language. It's not easy being cordial when one is attacked for their political opinions. It's not easy for tolerance in the wake of so much hate in this world.

Thankfully, we live in the best city in Missouri. A place where safety, quality of life, and commerce are blended into a city of tradition with vision. On this holiday weekend upcoming, let us not forget that the rights of others are just as important as our rights and that if we exercise wise judgement and cordial interface with folks from all walks of life we will make this a better community and will earn their respect for our rights as well.

Memorial Day - remember those that have fallen so that you can experience the respect of other folks' rights and that they might respect your rights as well! So many have served, so many have been wounded, so many have died, so many have been lost forever and yet we don't take the time to remember!
