Don’t miss the rockin' end-of-summer concert by Vote for Pedro, winner of the “2012 Riverfront Times Music Awards: Best Cover Band.”

The five-piece party band will perform in Civic Park from 6:30 – 9 p.m. on Tuesday, August 21, in O’Fallon, Missouri (63366). Admission and parking are free. Lawn seating is available around the Civic Park bandstand, and snacks and beverages will be available from vendors.

The band’s song list spans decades of rock music and includes America (“Sister Golden Hair”), Led Zeppelin (“Hey, Hey What Can I Do?”), The Police (“Roxanne”) to hits by Adele (“Rolling in the Deep”) and the Zac Brown Band (“Chicken Fried”). In 2010, Vote for Pedro’s lead singer Eric Wulff was named “Best Male Vocalist’ in the RFT “Best of St. Louis” Reader’s Choice category. www.vote4pedro.net/

 

O’Fallon Jammin’ Outdoor Concerts are sponsored by O’Fallon’s Parks and Recreation Department with support from local businesses. Civic Park offers an ADA-accessible playground, walking path and restrooms located near the bandstand. No glass containers are allowed in the park. Directions to Civic Park - On I-70, take Exit 217 at highways K and M (Main Street). Drive north approximately one-half mile on Main Street. After crossing the railroad tracks, make an immediate left turn (west) onto Civic Park Drive. The park is on the right about three blocks down.
