Hungarian painter's exhibit celebrates 17th Century masters

Feast your eyes on Hungarian artist Tibor Tornyai's richly-painted Old World landscapes exhibited at the O'Fallon Cultural Arts Gallery in the Renaud Spirit Center.

An exhibit of paintings by Hungarian artist Tibor Tornyai is on display through Friday, July 12, at O’Fallon’s Cultural Arts Gallery at the Renaud Spirit Center (RSC), 2650 Tri Sports Circle, O’Fallon, Missouri 63368.

Tornyai is an artist and educator whose landscapes, still life paintings and portraits are painted in the tradition of the great Flemish and Dutch masters of the 17th Century. “When you paint, the world is closed around you and you move to the point of the brush,” Tornyai says.
