O’Fallon Jammin’ features the O’Fallon Jazz Band and the O’Fallon Community Concert Band

O'Fallon's Jazz Band and the Community Concert Band will perform, free, in Civic Park, O'Fallon MO on Tuesday, July 31, from 6:30 – 9 p.m.

Relax to live music from the Big Band era, plus patriotic songs, Broadway shows, pops and music from the movies on Tuesday, July 31, from 6:30 – 9 p.m., when the O’Fallon Jazz Band and the O’Fallon Community Concert Band perform, free, at O’Fallon Jammin’ in Civic Park.

The O’Fallon Jazz Band will open the show at 6:30 p.m. with jazz, Big Band and swing. The song list includes: “I've Got The World On A String,” “Bones For Basie,” “Somewhere,” “Come Fly With Me,” “I'll Never Smile Again,” “September Song,” “I've Got You Under My Skin,” and “Ol' Man River.”

Now in its 25th year, the O’Fallon Community Concert Band will follow at 7:50 p.m. The program includes: “Where Valor Proudly Sleeps,” “Miss Saigon,” “Trombone Tiger Rag,” “American Salute,” “Pink Panther,” “Moon River,” “Baby Elephant Walk,” “Mamas and the Papas Medley,” and “Belle of the Ball.”

The City of O’Fallon’s Jammin’ Outdoor Concerts are held from 6:30 – 9 p.m. each Tuesday evening through August. Admission and parking are free, with lawn seating available around the Civic Park bandstand. An ADA-accessible playground, walking path and restrooms are located nearby, and vendors will sell snacks and beverages. Coolers are welcome but may be subject to inspection. For safety’s sake, no glass containers are allowed in the park.
