Special days coming up at Alligator’s Creek Aquatic Center

Enjoy swimming at Alligator's Creek Aquatic Center in O'Fallon even more with special days and promotional perks at no extra charge.

Dive into summer at Alligator’s Creek Aquatic Center, 403 Civic Park Drive (in Civic Park), O’Fallon, Missouri 63366. The outdoor complex is now open daily through August 11. If you like surprises, contests, games and giveaways, take advantage of promotional days in June and July, and enjoy extra fun at no additional charge:

  • Honor Roll Day, Friday, June 14 – Save that report card! Kindergartners through high school students with a report card showing a 3.0 GPA or better can swim for free.
  • Fathers’ Day, Sunday, June 16 – Dads are our guests today! Kids who pay admission can get their dads admitted, free.
  • Members-Only Night, Sunday, July 14 – An RSC membership or an Alligator’s Creek season pass admits you to an evening of fun and games, free, from 7:30 – 9 p.m.
  • Dive-In Movie, Friday, June 21 – After the pool closes for the day, we’ll convert it into a “dive-in” movie theater from 8:30 – 10 p.m., for a showing of Rise of the Guardians (PG). A limited number of inner tubes will be available, or swimmers may bring their own if the tubes are 30 inches in diameter or less. Concessions will be available for purchase. Please note, Alligator’s Creek will close from 8 – 8:30 p.m. for cleaning and set up, and everyone must purchase a ticket or show a pool pass for admittance to the movie.
  • Shipwrecked Pirate Day and the 4th Annual Cardboard Boat Race, Sunday, July 21 –Enjoy nautical and pirate-themed fun, games and prizes all day long, plus the Cardboard Boat Race from 4 – 6 p.m. To participate in the race, make a two-person boat out of cardboard and duct tape; be sure to register your boat no later than July 17. On Race Day bring your craft and crew to Alligator’s Creek and race across the pool for prizes for the “Fastest Boat,” “Best-Decorated Boat” and the “Titanic Award.” Pay daily admission or show a season pass to get in (with or without a boat). The race entry fee per two-person crew with a boat is $10 for O’Fallon residents and $12 for non-residents.

Alligator’s Creek’s pool hours are Monday through Thursday noon – 6 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays 10 a.m. – 8 p.m., and Sundays noon – 7 p.m. The aquatic center has two water slides, two pools, a lazy river, a water playground, a zero-depth beach entry, beach-side water play for toddlers, and a concession stand. Daily admission varies from $3.50 - $4.50 for residents, and $4.50 - $5.50 for non-residents. Season pool passes are available. Directions: On I-70, take Exit 217 at Highway K/M (Main Street); turn north on Main Street for about one-half mile, cross the railroad tracks and make an immediate left turn onto Civic Park Drive. Alligator’s Creek is on the right, about three blocks down.
