Hear “Ticket to The Beatles” in concert, free, at O’Fallon Jammin’
Playing covers since 1997 for the most famous band in rock ‘n roll history, Ticket to The Beatles will bring the sounds of Liverpool to O’Fallon, Missouri. The group will perform from 6:30 – 9 p.m. tonight at O’Fallon Jammin’ (Tuesday, August 7), in Civic Park, O'Fallon, MO 63366. Admission and parking are free.
The four-piece band doesn’t dress like the Fab Four, but they strive to recreate the “energy and excitement that was The Beatles” during their early days, with music ranging from the Beatles’ first number one hit, “Please, Please Me,” to “The End,” the final song recorded by the band. Baker Symes sings John Lennon and plays guitar and keyboards. Wayne Givens sings Paul McCartney and plays bass and keyboard; George Smith sings George Harrison and plays guitar, and Kevin Simon sings Ringo Star and plays drums. www.tickettothebeatles.net/
